Anapol Schwartz Foundation Presents Dennis Gleason with Anapol Advocate Award for Assisting Burn Injury Victims

The Anapol Advocate Award has been given to Hatboro resident, Dennis Gleason, by The Anapol Schwartz Foundation, established by the Philadelphia-based law firm Anapol Schwartz, P.C., for encouraging those affected by injuries to lead productive lives. Managing partner of Anapol Schwartz, Joel Feldman, presented burn survivor Dennis Gleason with his award plaque at the Crozer-Chester Medical Center’s Nathan Speare Regional Burn Treatment Center.

In acknowledging those who have dedicated time and effort to assisting victims affected by catastrophic injuries, Anapol Schwartz’s Foundation will be donating $5,000 to the Medical Center’s burn unit in Gleason’s honor.

As the first Anapol Advocate Award winner, Gleason has been recognized by the Anapol Schwartz Foundation for promoting burn prevention and improving the lives of burn survivors and their families. Gleason endured electrical burns when working as a lineman at Philadelphia-based electric and natural gas utility subsidiary of Exelon Corporation, PECO. The Philadelphia burn injury accident occurred after Gleason came in contact with a power distribution line. Ever since his recovery, Gleason has been an active member of the Burn Foundation’s Survivors Advisory Council in serving as a mentor.

Burn injuries are often very serious, which is why prevention is extremely important; as are the endeavors of brave and philanthropic individuals like Mr. Gleason.

Whether you or a loved one have suffered a burn injury from a chemical burn, motor vehicle collision, hot liquid exposure, industrial accident, electrical contact, or a defective product, medical, financial and legal help is available to help you during your rehabilitative process.
